Remember with a picture

List with photos – remember without typing it all out

Some things are hard to write down: that one kind of coffee, the wine label, the screw in exactly that size. With MerkIchMir you just take a photo and put it on the list – next to plain text items, all in one place.

How to put a photo on the list

  1. Open a list or create a new one – say "Hardware store" or "Wines that were good".
  2. Tap photo: either snap it there and then or pick an image from your library.
  3. The picture lands as its own item on the list, right among the text points.
  4. In the shop you tap it, see it big – and tick it off once it's in the trolley.

When a picture says more than three words

Your camera roll stays clean

Anyone who "just quickly" photographs this sort of thing ends up with 40 pictures of packaging between the holiday photos by the end of the month. In MerkIchMir the shots stay in the list, where they belong. Once the shopping is done you tick the item off or delete the whole list – and the picture goes with it.

Frequently asked

Can I put photos and text on the same list?

Yes. Each item is either a photo or a text – both sit on the same list, one under the other, and get ticked off the same way.

Where do the photos come from?

Straight from the camera or from your photo library. You take the picture in the app or pick an existing one.

Do the pictures stay private?

Photos on a private list stay on your device. Only when you share a list are that list's pictures synced so the others can see them.

Will the photos clutter my camera roll?

No. The shots live in the list, not in your photo library – your camera roll stays clean.

Is it available on Android?

Currently iPhone, iPad and Mac only. There is no Android version.
