Shopping together

Share a shopping list – shop together without the note chaos

One list everyone can see and edit: partner, family or flatmates add things, you tick them off in the shop – and everyone works from the same list. No "can you also grab…" shout at the checkout, no olive oil bought twice.

A shared shopping list in the MerkIchMir app, several people editing the same list
One shared list – every change lands on the same list for everyone.

How to share a list

  1. Open the list, tap 🛠 at the top and choose "Share list".
  2. The first time, you sign in: enter your email, tap the link in the message (valid for 15 minutes, opens the app directly).
  3. Your first shared list is unlocked right away. Now you add the email addresses of the people you're sharing with.
  4. If you like, the app sends them a short invitation email.
  5. They install the app and sign in with that same email address – then the list is on their phone and everyone edits the same one.

Free for your first list

Your first shared list costs nothing. Every further one is a one-time purchase of EUR 0.99 – no subscription. The reason: shared lists live in the cloud, private lists stay on the device.

A shared list beats the group chat

"We still need milk" in the family chat gets buried the moment someone posts a photo of the dog. A shared list stays a list: items sit one under the other, done things get ticked instead of scrolled away, and nobody has to dig through the last 40 messages after shopping. Whoever is in the shop sees exactly what's still missing.

A photo instead of just "yoghurt"

"Yoghurt" is suddenly 30 varieties on the shelf. With MerkIchMir you just photograph the brand you want, the empty pack or the wine label – and put the picture on the list. The other person then buys the right thing, not the near-miss.

Who it's worth it for

Frequently asked

Do the others need an account?

They don't need a password. They sign in once with their email address – the exact address you add to the list. Sign-in works through a link sent by email.

How do the others get onto the list?

You add their email address to the shared list. There is no join link to forward – access is tied to the address. If you like, the app sends them a short invitation email.

How many people can be on one list?

Several. For a couple, a family or a flat share that's plenty.

Does everyone see changes right away?

The list syncs through the cloud. New items and ticks show up the next time someone opens the app – without anyone having to send anything.

What does sharing cost?

The app is free, and so is your first shared list. Every further shared list is a one-time purchase of EUR 0.99 – no subscription.

Is it available on Android?

Currently iPhone, iPad and Mac only. There is no Android version.
